Community Management. Content Strategy. Account Strategy. Production.

Queens Gaming Collective is a gaming lifestyle company built for women, by women. Their mission is to level the playing field in gaming. It was my role to oversee the social media role-out for the brand when it launched in November 2020.

Content Strategy & Community Management

I produced and managed the social media editorial calendar. Using original QueensGG content, UGC, and content sourced from the Queen's talent roster, it was vital that this content told the story behind this brand, and its featured gamers, and reflected the community ethos they were so eager to build. It was also important to stay up to date with the industry’s latest trends and happenings to ensure they remained culturally relevant with each post.

We created social content that empowered women to stake a claim in gaming by creating an inclusive digital community that unites women gamers and encourages them to amplify their voice, collaborate, and be an inspiration for the younger generation.

I also played the role of community manager, ensuring that the account was engaging with the relevant posts and accounts necessary to ensure account engagement was on the rise. Under my watch, the account grew to 5,200 followers from December to mid-February when the brand moved their management in-house. In 6-weeks, the brand achieved an average of 200K+ weekly engagements.

QueensGG x ColorPop x Animal Crossing Collaboration

This collaboration was a first for QueensGG. Working in tandem with the teams from QueensGG, Colorpop, and Nintendo I oversaw the social media role out for the collaboration. From event details to live tweets during the stream to event recaps, I organized and created the content that would be used throughout the campaign.

The event gained homepage placement on Twitch and an average of 10K live viewers for an average 45 minute watch time. Out of 81 total posts made, QueensGG earned 4.2M impressions, 800K+ reach, and 39K engagements.
